We were excited to try Aunt Fannie's. The brand has great reviews and boasts about its remarkable cleaner power.

During our tests, we found Aunt Fannie’s to be indeed highly effective on everyday messes. It worked especially well on kitchen floors, where grease tends to accumulate. However we did notice that it worked best when applied with warm water, as this helped loosen grime faster. We love that it uses non-toxic ingredients and the formula dried quickly, leaving floors streak-free and shiny.

While Aunt Fannie's Floor Cleaner performed well on a variety of surfaces, it did require measuring liquid which was an extra step that other cleaners such as Freddie and Fab Tab didn't need. It's also worth noting that the vinegar smell was quite strong at first and might not be for everyone, especially those sensitive to smells.

Finally, Aunt Fannie's Floor Cleaner does come in a plastic bottle. The packaging is recyclable, but it's still plastic, which some consumers may want to avoid. 

Fab Tab Tile & Floor Cleaning Tablets are dissolvable tablets that create an eco-friendly cleaning solution. Simply drop a tablet into water, wait for it to dissolve, and start mopping. With no harmful chemicals, these tabs provide a convenient way to clean floors.

Fab Tab's Tile & Floor Cleaning Tablets earned the third-highest overall spot as we found them incredibly easy to use and store. 

The effervescent formula quickly dissolved in water. It worked well on tile and laminate, lifting everyday dirt with minimal effort. The light lavender scent added a fresh touch, though it wasn’t overpowering. What we loved the most was that the tablets were pre-measured and much easier to use than traditional liquid floor cleaners.

However, while it easily handled dust and spills,  we did have to scrub a little harder for set-in stains.  It's also important to mention that among the floor cleaners tested, Fab Tab's tablets weren't the most budget-friendly option.

Better Life Floor Cleaner is a liquid ready-to-use floor cleaner that provides a deep clean without the use of harsh chemicals. It’s designed for convenience — simply squirt directly onto the floor and mop without any need for rinsing. The formula is safe for hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl flooring.

The squirt & mop application made it simple to target high-traffic areas without the hassle of diluting or preparing a solution. We tested it on hardwood, tile, and laminate floors, and it left each surface looking clean and polished without any streaks or sticky residue.

The fresh citrus scent was pleasant without being overwhelming, adding a refreshing touch to the cleaning process. We also appreciated that the formula dried quickly, which is ideal for busy households where waiting for floors to dry isn't an option.  In terms of cleaning power, it handled everyday dirt and spills effortlessly, though we found that tougher stains like sticky residues and scuff marks required a second pass with extra scrubbing.

One downside was that, compared to concentrated solutions, more product was required to clean large areas, making it slightly less cost-effective. However, for those looking for an easy, grab-and-go option, Better Life Floor Cleaner is a fantastic choice.
